摘要: SUMMARY Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) induce gastric and duodenal damage in animals humans. The possible protection afforded by cimetidine against acute short-term NSAID-induced mucosal was evaluated five studies. Cimetidine 200 mg once daily 400 found to protect the mucosa induced a single dose of aspirin 1300 mg; this be independent acid secretion. q.d.s. stomach duodenum 14 days’treatment with 650 Duodenal during 7-day treatment period naproxen 500 b.d. prevented b.d.; also provided significant I week therapy indomethacin 50 t.d.s. There is no correlation between upper gastrointestinal symptoms, or prostanoids, presence absence damage. therefore effective prevention NSAIDs.
