摘要: Cell-extrinsic signals and intrinsic cell cycle regulators strictly control proliferation. Cancers develop from a that escapes these tight controls proliferates unrestrictedly. The primary cilium critically proliferation by mediating cell-extrinsic regulating entry. Accordingly, recent studies showed defective cilia can either promote or suppress cancers, depending on the cancer-initiating mutation, presence absence of is associated with specific cancer types.
