摘要: The aim of this study was to investigate the role prolactin in secretion by adrenal dehydroepiandrosterone (DHA) and its sulphate (DHA-S). Therefore DHA-S levels were determined different groups subjects under various physiological pathological conditions. In patients with prolactinomas, or pharmacologically induced hyperprolactinaemia, plasma and, lesser extend, DHA concentrations elevated, blood production rate greatly increased. ACTH stimulation which did not influence normals, caused a significant increase prolactinomas; similar normal prolactinoma patients. Bromocriptine treatment prolactinaemia normalized both concentrations. Acute elevation TRH short term administration sulpiride, contrast long treatment, levels. During pregnancy, notwithstanding high concentrations, lower than during menstrual cycle. given glucocorticoid replacement cortisol, low (normal) persistently It is concluded that only prolonged induces increased cortex prerequisite for effect. absence elevated pregnancy might be explained rapid metabolism, as intimate mechanism interaction at remains however unknown.
