摘要: Summary Epithelial-mesenchymal transition–related proteins have been suggested to interact with each other in various cancers and be associated the aggressive behavior of cancer. To demonstrate clinical significance epithelial-mesenchymal transition stem cell–like phenotypes gastric cancer, we performed immunohistochemistry for 5 proteins, including Snail-1, ZEB-1, E-cadherin, vimentin, β -catenin, cancer cell marker CD44 276 consecutive primary 54 matched lymph node metastases. Loss E-cadherin expression aberrant vimentin were significantly clinicopathologic features. The was closely related known maker, CD44, protein ( P value using Kaplan-Meier method = .029). However, acquired mesenchymal phenotype cells at site restored an epithelial A combination is important predictor biologic has independent prognostic predicting outcomes
