摘要: Human cytomegalovirus (HCMV) has evolved numerous strategies to commandeer the host cell for producing viral progeny. The virus manipulates cycle pathways from early stages of infection stimulate DNA replication at expense cellular synthesis. At same time, checkpoints are by-passed, preventing apoptosis and allowing sufficient time assembly infectious virus.
