摘要: Women, on average, have higher life expectancies than men, though sex differences in mortality vary from country to and over time. In this paper I propose examine compare an extended period of time the trends levels expectancy Taiwan (1906–2008). 2007 average at birth Taiwanese was 81.7 years for females 75.6 males (The Human Mortality Database 2010). will use data annual tables 1906–2008 produced by Ministry Interior Taiwan. Therefore, paper, not only review longevity Taiwan, but also estimate logistic models decompose into three parts: juvenile, background, senescent expectancy, as proposed Bongaarts 2006 .
