摘要: The morphology of the medial papillary muscle complex right ventricle was studied in 81 normal hearts from subjects ranging age 20 weeks gestation to 13 months. position main (of Lancisi) differentiated terms a root and belly. anterior aspect found constant at basal bifurcation septomarginal trabeculation, whereas its belly showed considerable positional variation. Three groups minor muscles were identified localised specific areas base ventricle. Taken overall, they formed part complex. itself be constantly related antero-septal commissure tricuspid valve. A separate group septal could anchorage leaflet valve ventricular septum also studied. antero-superior postero-inferior portions this supported by posterior complexes, respectively. Its midportion connected but much variability evident. portion trabeculation supporting complex, namely postero-basal division, further. This did not form continuous anatomical spectrum.
