摘要: Small noncoding RNAs are important transcriptional regulators implicated in several aspects of cell biology. Recent studies have demonstrated that qualitative and quantitative information on these molecules may be clinically useful for the cancer community. Next-Generation Sequencing is quickly becoming technology choice to study their role since a single equipment run provide thorough small RNA populations. Expression levels, mutational status, opportunity identify novel among resources most sequencing platforms. However, challenges include sample processing an appropriate data analysis pipeline. This chapter describes workflow analysis, discussing preparation, alignment quantification, differential expression molecule identification. We currently studying head neck squamous carcinoma (HNSCC). Arising from epithelial cells lining upper aerodigestive tract strongly associated with tobacco alcohol consumption, HNSCC leading cancers by incidence worldwide. Information relevance this type still scarce but become diagnostic prognostic purposes when comprehensive datasets available.
