摘要: Cancer of the ovary is responsible for highest proportion mortality in patients with gynecologic malignancies. The overall survival these at 5 years 39% [1]. Epithelial ovarian carcinoma (EOC) represents 90% histologies and thus most frequent histologic group. Primary peritoneal carcinoma, also called extraovarian mullerian has same pattern tumor spread sensitivity to chemotherapy as EOC, although ovaries are not primarily involved pathologic process. Other malignancies that originate from include those germ cell stromal origin. These considered separately have a different clinical presentation response treatment.
