摘要: The ‘crisis’ debate in O.R. expresses concern at the divergence between textbook and what practitioners actually do. is examined by comparing O.R., systems analysis engineering. They are all wedded to logic situations which may not be paramount. science applies only aggregate results, but practitioner must deal with a specific situation. tradition of thinking emerged from organismic biology described. It leads way out ‘crisis’, providing formal structuring paradigm learning rather than optimization. can aspire match natural science, pass problems by; or it close textbook/practitioner gap changing its concept ‘being scientific’.
