摘要: Aims: To improve knowledge of the epidemiology melanoma by comparing occupational risks cutaneous (CM) anatomic site in Swedish workers. Methods: Male workers employed 1970 and living country 1960 were followed up from 1971 to 1989 using Registers Death Cancer. A more specifically exposed subcohort included men reporting same occupation 1970. For each location, risk ratios (RRs) extracted Poisson regression models adjusted age, period, town size, geographical area. diminish influence socioeconomic factors, intrasector analyses, only jobs belonging sector, performed. Risk patterns for different locations compared. Results: High RRs sites found among UV sources (dentists, physiotherapists, lithographers), sun (harbour masters, lighthouse/related work). excesses seen fur tailors, tanners/fur dressers, patternmakers/cutters, electrical fitters/wiremen, telephone/telegraph installers/repairmen, some glass/pottery/tile Results lower upper limbs significantly correlated but somewhat independent those thorax, most frequent location. Correlation between head/neck thorax was moderate. Specific rolling mill head/neck, chimney sweeps limbs, aircraft pilots/navigators/flight engineers limbs. Conclusions: trunk occupations with exposure artificial suggest an effect not restricted sites. An unusual distribution cases sweeps, rolling-mill, or suggests local effects exposures. The previously reported excess this job related processes, RR fitters installers deserve further investigation. Disparities locations, as may reflect differences aetiological mechanisms.
