摘要: The aim of our study was to test the hypothesis that better absorption sorbitol when ingested with glucose could be related a delayed gastric emptying. We tested effect ingestion and lipids on emptying intestinal in six healthy volunteers, using scintigraphy hydrogen breath test. After an overnight fast, subjects random order, 48-h periods separated by at least one week, following solutions: (a) 20 g alone; (b) glucose; (c) 9 lipids. Isotopic acquisitions were taken for 3 h labelled 111Indium. Hydrogen concentration measured end-expiratory samples during 5 h, areas under curve, reflecting amounts unabsorbed small bowel, compared between periods. Mean area curve 397 +/- 159 alone, this significantly lower or (313 181 337 135, respectively; P < 0.05). three curves differed from each other, being slowest plus lipids, fastest alone. found positive correlation half-emptying time (r = 0.46, In conclusion, demonstrates adding solution slows sorbitol, resulting sorbitol.
