摘要: Image processing algorithms for automatic extraction of cell body contours and cell-substratum contacts from video images, which were obtained by bright-field microscopy reflection interference contrast microscopy, respectively, are described. Double-view imaging, combines these two optical techniques, is used to investigate the relationship between cell-to-substratum adhesion shape changes during locomotion amoeboid cells Dictyostelium discoideum. Contact areas extracted images via a routine performs binarisation on basis threshold estimation, as it calculated histogram minimum method. Boundaries utilising an algorithm that includes background subtraction based texture discrimination means rank operator.
