摘要: Development and sexual differentiation of the mammalian gonad involve changes in type distribution different proteins glycoproteins around epithelial gonadal cords, future seminiferous tubules testis, follicles ovary. To study cellular carbohydrate-containing compounds sex-specific morphogenesis rat gonads, sections from embryonic, fetal early postnatal gonads were labelled with seven fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC)-conjugated plant lectins various carbohydrate-binding specificities. Double labelling laminin tetramethylrhodamine (TRITC)-conjugated antibodies was used to outline tissues. From results we conclude that abundance similar carbohydrates both sexes supports their sexually indifferent nature. Furthermore, basement membranes differentiating cords have common features, which differ, however, those other developing urogenital organs. Changes carbohydrate composition appear gonads; similarity lectin binding embryonic male, female, suggests mechanisms cell-cell interactions although activated at developmental stages. These specificites tissue level should be taken into account together cell-type specific changes, e.g. formation zona pellucida, when phenomenon polymorphic expression is integrated theories differentiation.
