Comparative studies on the reproductive systems ofCardamine flexuosa, C. impatients, C. scutata, andC. lyrata, cruciferae

摘要: The reproductive systems of fourCardamine species were compared.C. flexuosa ssp.flexuosa, a self-pollinated winter annual in fallow paddy fields, produces numerous small seeds.C. ssp.fallax, year-long gardens and roadsides, also many impatiens, forest margins, similarly scutata is perennial ill-drained fields creeks; its vegetative reproduction not predominant, it relatively lyrata, cross-pollinated with self-incompatibility creeks, fewer heavier seeds, but does produce ramets. Moreover, seed-dispersal mechanisms germination behavior several adaptive characteristics to their habitats are found. These observations on the apparently present different life-history strategy for each them.
