摘要: Although chronic postprandial elevation of branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs) occurs in diabetic subjects and consuming high-protein diets, the metabolic effects simultaneously increasing levels these three are unclear. In this study, a mixture BCAAs was infused intravenously into baboons, beginning 30 minutes after daily meal continuing for 200 on four consecutive days. Blood samples were collected last day treatment. Infusion fed baboons promoted an increase peak glucagon, decrease seven acids, plasma 3-OH butyrate. The ketone body response occurred despite ratio insulin/glucagon five animals not associated with change rate lipolysis as indicated by glycerol measurements. These findings raise possibility that bodies one products BCAA metabolism induced high concentrations leucine or ketoisocaproate. observation augments glucagon secretion may explain parallel increases observed protein diets.
