摘要: Objective  Topical formalin has been used as an effective treatment for haemorrhagic radiation proctitis. In the course of reviewing our experience with this modality, we identified two patients who developed anorectal cancer during follow-up period. Method  From 2001 to 2005, 49 received pelvic prostate, rectal or endometrial subsequently Four percent was applied in office setting under direct visualization a rigid proctoscope and without sedation. Response then reviewed. Results  Seventy-eight per cent reported complete response application. Only 14% were refractory treatment. Two presented cancer. Conclusion  application outpatient appears be first-line We report first cases which subsequent Pelvic irradiation is known increase risk developing second malignancy, therefore it impossible determine what, if any, role played development malignancies.
