摘要: Background: Incontinence is a common and embarrassing problem which has profound effect on social psychological well-being. Many people wear absorbent products to contain urine leakage protect their clothes. It can be difficult define light urinary incontinence because volumes, flow frequency rates may vary substantially whilst still being considered 'light'. Light encompass occasional (monthly) leaks of very small amounts (e.g. 1 g 2 g) up frequent (several times per day) larger 20 50 g). A practical definition loss that contained within pad (typically 500 g; ISO 1996). Objectives: To assess the effectiveness different types product designs for women with incontinence. Search strategy: We searched Cochrane Incontinence Group Specialised Trials Register (3 May 2006) reference lists relevant articles were perused.
