摘要: While conventional industrial organization theory has been used to explain behavior of the food distribution oligopoly, a more careful analysis shows its tendencies be basically different from manufacturing oligopoly. The larger firm tends toward price competition while smaller nonprice competition. interaction between and oligopolies in industry provides unique balance progressiveness economy which is not available industries where oligopoly developed. This consequence large firms brings up some basic questions about antitrust objectives philosophy.
