摘要: The study of stress and health is one the richest areas research in social biomedical sciences. In this chapter, we first describe core concepts stress, coping, health. Second, summarize key theoretical perspectives that frame psychological on Third, review methods measures used, as well limitations associated with these approaches. We draw examples empirical studies exploring stressors across multiple life domains, including early adversity, work, family, environmental strains, show their impact a range physical mental outcomes. also highlight gender, race, SES, course differences regarding prevalence nature coping resources, conclude by suggesting directions for future coping.
