摘要: Tyrosol is a quorum-sensing molecule of Candida albicans able to induce hyphal development in the early and intermediate stages biofilm growth. In present study, we evaluated effect high concentrations exogenous tyrosol on planktonic cells biofilms C. (n = 10) tropicalis 10), investigated whether could be synergic antifungals that target cellular ergosterol. Antifungal susceptibility drug interaction against were by broth microdilution method. was inhibit cells, with MIC values ranging from 2.5 5.0 mM for both species. Synergism observed between tyrosol/amphotericin B (11/20 strains), tyrosol/itraconazole (18/20 strains) tyrosol/fluconazole strains). Exogenous alone or combined at 10 × 50 reduce Mature susceptible amphotericin MIC. On other hand, plus azoles enhanced
