摘要: This study aimed to assess the sexual behavior of jacks mounting jennies in estrus and determine daily sperm output (DSO) spermatogenic efficiency using two equations calculate testicular volume (TV). Eight sexually rested mature jacks, aging 5 10 years old, had semen collected once a day for consecutive days good standing mounting. Sexual parameters were assessed during each collection. Testicular measurements height, width, length taken immediately before first collection, these used TV. After that, TV was predict DSO. The average total number (TSN) obtained on 8 deemed actual Differences predicted vs. DSO efficiency. In addition, also inseminating doses jack could produce both on- off-site breeding. Jack's motility did not vary across collection days. Sperm concentration TSN reduced over time (P < .05). 9.1 ± 4.1 billion, varied from 4.7 18 billion. Spermatogenic 50 150% based equation ranged 15 47 at 300-500 million progressively motile (pms)/dose on-site contrast, breeding with cooled-shipped (1 billion pms/dose) 4 14 donkeys. conclusion, affected by collections. rest affect motility. Clinically normal donkeys have high efficiency, which confirms previous histology reports.
