摘要: We determined the effect of cytokines on proliferation and migration cells isolated from inner-third (white-white), middle-third (red-white), outer-third (red-red) regions bovine meniscus. Cells outer, or peripheral, region meniscus exhibited higher DNA synthesis in presence 10% serum compared with inner central regions. Recombinant human platelet-derived growth factor-AB, hepatocyte factor/scatter factor, bone morphogenic protein-2 stimulated all meniscal a dose-dependent manner, two- to threefold maximal stimulation at 10 ng/ml. Cell was also by addition cytokines. Platelet-derived factor caused an increase derived three zones, while interleukin-1 selectively outer-zone cells. Epidermal much less effective outer zones 40% 50%, insulin-like factor-1 middle zone 50%. The identification that stimulate both may provide new tools for modulation healing.
