摘要: Objectives. To investigate the influence of a contra bevel on fracture resistance teeth restored with cast post and core. Materials Methods. Sixty plastic analogues an upper incisor were endodontically treated prepared 6° internal taper 2 mm ferrule in order to receive The samples divided into two groups (n = 30); first group serves as control while second was external 30° buccal lingual walls. All crowned exposed compressive load at 130° their long axis until fractures occurred. Fracture loads recorded failure modes also observed. Mann-Whitney test carried out compare groups. Results. Mean for were, respectively, 1038.69 N (SD ±243.52 N) 1078.89 N ±352.21 N). Statistically, there no significant difference between (P 0.7675 > 0.05). Conclusion. In presence crown anterior teeth, adding secondary core will not increase fracture.
