摘要: Results of the present study suggest that natural immunity to meningococcal disease is initiated, reinforced, and broadened by intermittent carriage different strains meningococci throughout life. In young adults, in nasopharynx an efficient process immune sensitization. 92% carriers serogroup B, C, or Bo were found develop increased titers serum bactericidal activity their own isolate, 87% developed heterologous pathogenic meningococci. The rise titer occurred within 2 wk onset carrier state, was accompanied increase specific IgG, IgM, IgA antibodies early childhood, when few children have meningococci, active immunization seems occur as a result atypical, nonpathogenic strains. Immunity systemic infection among infants neonatal period associated with passive transfer IgG from mother fetus. antigenic determinants which initiate response include group-specific C polysaccharide, cross-reactive antigens, type-specific antigens.
