摘要: This paper develops a nonlinear optimization model for the determination of optimal cropping patterns in irrigated agriculture. Decision variables are cultivated area each soil type at farm. The objective function is based on crop-water production functions, irrigation technology used, and costs prices products. solved using GAMS-MINOS package conditions existing Chile. gives distribution areas crops, water needs, labor requirements, total profit. Sensitivity solution to land, labor, resources examined.
