摘要: Abstract Static headspace sampling and gas chromatograph (GC) analyses were used to monitor the concentrations of malodorous compounds (volatile fatty acids (VFA), phenol, p-cresol, indole, skatole) throughout aerobic treatment swine wastewater. In two sets experiments, continuous aeration wastewater was carried out for 24 h. An addition sodium azide, a microbial inhibitor, made in second experiment order explore impact activity versus air stripping on concentration volatile compounds. The study confirms that static GC separation provide useful method monitoring process. Results also confirm is an effective odour control wastewaters. Under conditions, VFA, p-cresol skatole degraded. significant decline rate degradation acetic acid can be attributed activity.
