摘要: Neurotransmitter receptors play a key role in most research on antipsychotic drugs, but little is known about the effects of these drugs plasma membrane central nervous system. Therefore, we investigated whether chlorpromazine (CPZ), typical phenothiazine drug, affects integrity rat brain, and if so, alterations can be prevented by dietary supplementation with vitamin E, which has been shown to an antioxidant also membrane-stabilizer. Leakage [(18)F]2-fluoro-2-deoxy-D-glucose ([(18)F]FDG)-6-phosphate from striatal slices decrease 1,6-diphenyl-1,3,5-hexatriene fluorescence anisotropy were used as indexes for permeabilization fluidization, respectively. CPZ induced leakage [(18)F]FDG-6-phosphate slices, was delayed E-supplemented group compared that normal diet group. The significantly attenuated E supplementation. Chronic treatment alpha-phenyl-N-tert-butyl nitrone, free radical scavenger, had no effect CPZ-induced permeabilization, did not induce lipid peroxidation. reduce this reduction via its membrane-stabilizing properties, activity.
