摘要: In our earlier work on the development of a model-independent data analysis method for reconstructing (moments the) time-averaged one-dimensional velocity distribution function Weakly Interacting Massive Particles (WIMPs) by using measured recoil energies from direct Dark Matter detection experiments directly, it was assumed that analyzed sets are background-free, i.e., all events WIMP signals. this article, as more realistic study, we take into account fraction possible residue background events, which pass discrimination criteria and then mix with other real WIMP-induced in sets. Our simulations show that, reconstruction distribution, maximal acceptable set(s) O(500) total is ~10% - 20%. For mass 50 GeV negligible uncertainty 20% deviation reconstructed would principle be ~7.5% statistical ~18% (~19% background-free set).
