摘要: To spur Europe to meet ambitious CO2 emission reduction targets, Greenpeace has developed scenarios for each country increase its electricity generation from renewable sources. Energynautics was commissioned by model and optimise the grid extensions in necessary integrate these large shares of renewables (77% total supply 2030, including 53% wind solar). The results further analysis data are presented here. It found that preferring high voltage direct current rather than alternating network extensions, overall upgrades (measured as length new transmission lines) can be reduced a third. By allowing small amount curtailment variable sources, disproportionately number avoided. In addition, accuracy decoupling active reactive power flows is analysed.
