摘要: Rat liver plasma membranes were isolated as presented in the preceding paper (Hubbard, A. L., D. Wall, and Ma., 1983, J. Cell Biol., 96: 217-229) found to contain many filaments associated both with desmosomes along lateral surface cytoplasmic aspects of comprising each three domains (lateral [LS], bile canalicular [BC] sinusoidal [SF] ). Exposure alkaline media (up pH 11) resulted loss recognizable without domain morphology or membrane enzyme activities. Electrophoretic analysis solubilized components from control alkaline-extracted revealed that major polypeptides present at 43, 52, 56 kdaltons had been released by treatment (pH could be quantitatively recovered supernate. The 43-kdalton component was identified actin comparison its tryptic 125I-peptide map those muscle (alpha) brush border (beta, gamma) actins. 52- 56-kdalton tonofilament their solubility properties ability reassemble into 9.5-nm monomers an extract.
