摘要: Abstract Introduction This study used the Rasch model to evaluate psychometric properties of Portuguese version Substance Problem Scale (SPS) “Global Appraisal Individual Needs - Initial” for use in Brazil. The SPS measures alcohol and drug problem severity within a DSM-IV-TR framework. goal analysis was assess scale dimensionality, item severity, differential functioning (DIF). Methods Data collected from 40 inpatients 70 outpatients Sao Paulo, fit DIF by gender level care were examined. Results model, with no items distorting measure. Only three sixteen performed differently between men women care. Conclusions results compatible those analyses American English Canadian versions scale. is, thus, valid Brazil, both inpatient outpatient programs.
