Acceleration of Granulocytic Cell Recovery in Irradiated Mice by a Single Subcutaneous Injection of a Heat-Killed Lactobacillus casei Preparation

摘要: Flow cytometric analysis showed that the treatment of irradiated mice with a heat-killed Lactobacillus casei preparation (LC 9018) accelerated recovery granulocytic cell populations in peripheral blood, spleen and femur bone marrow. The lymphocytic population was not while B-lymphocytic inhibited. Histological also LC-9018 markedly enhanced granulopoiesis marrow mice. same significantly increased 30-day survival rates athymic nude after lethal whole-body irradiation. blood by treatment. Our results suggest LC 9018 protected lethally from death enhancing rather than lymphopoiesis contribution activated T lymphocytes to enhancement small.
