摘要: To determine if in vivo administration of granulocyte-macrophage CSF (GM-CSF) affects production B lymphocytes the bone marrow, mice were treated with cytokine and kinetics cell was analyzed. After 1 wk GM-CSF treatment, number progenitors that express B220 Ag had fallen fivefold surface IgM expressing cells barely detectable. Although cellularity spleen increased two-fold, due part to an increase progenitor cells, splenic levels not affected by treatment. numbers marrow their immediate declined capable rapidly restoring lymphopoiesis present tissue. cessation resumed rebounded supernormal at after last injection. This effect may be actions on lymphopoietic support capability environment, because overproduction observed when from donors used reconstitute sublethally irradiated severe combined immunodeficient mice.
