摘要: B lymphocytes, the cellular source of antibody, are critical components immune response. They develop from multipotential stem cells, progressively acquiring traits that allow them to function as mature lymphocytes. This developmental program is dependent on appropriate interactions with surrounding environment. These interactions, mediated by cell-cell and cell-matrix provide growth differentiation signals promote progression along pathway. chapter addresses properties developing lineage cells nature environmental support progression.
