摘要: T HE TERM "vanishing bile duct syndromes" refers to a series of cholestatic liver diseases characterized by progressive destruction segments the intrahepatic biliary tree (1). One possible aetiologies is drug-induced, toxic damage. This category drug-induced and injuries subject following general considerations. • Drug-induced damage associated with lesions ducts presumably affects both hepatocytes cells, since acute phase parenchymal bilirubinostasis hepatitic component increased aminotransferases (2) in association portal inflammatory including destructive cholangitis interlobular (3). Although epithelial cells have capacity multiply regenerate under influence appropriate stimuli (4), it appears that ducts, as complete epithelium-lined tubes, are only rarely reconstructed once they been completely destroyed replaced connective tissue scars (5). It comes no surprise then disease disappearance results long-lasting, chronic cholestasis. Understandably, resembles other vanishing disorders,' clinically histologically." explains why several reports past compared this pathological state naturally occurring like Primary Biliary Cirrhosis (PBC) (6). In some instances, drugs even suggested be cause PBC. seems more probable, however, cases represent co-
