摘要: The purpose of this work was to investigate the environmental geochemistry Attock and Haripur basins Pakistan using water, soil plants as indicators. The study included determination seven physiochemical parameters (pH, TDS, EC, NO3-, SO42-, Cl- HCO3-) along with monitoring 15 major trace elements (Na, K, Ca, Mg, Cd, Cr, Cu, Pb, Fe, Ni, Zn, Co, Mn, As Hg) concentrations these were analyzed through atomic-absorption spectrometer inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS). Data presentation interpretation done by employing a range statistical tools like Piper diagram, chronic daily intake, hazard quotient also applying multivariate analysis (Principal component analysis, Correlation, Cluster analysis). GIS based spatial distribution samples ArcGIS 9.3.The physico-chemical water compared those WHO (2008) USEPA standards.Piper diagram showed that 80% 90% respectively fell in field Ca-Mg type on basis cations HCO3- anion basis. Chronic intake (CDI) (HQ) calculated. HQ 1) exception Cr (<1); therefore, health risks all consumption vegetables great concern area. Nine HMs (Zn, Mn Fe) medicinal plants. Their high according international safety standards for human beings. High level could be due industrial agricultural activities It is concluded quality are facing severe degradation unwise area. This will, provide future management other polluted streams soils regions. The ground irrigation can improved implementing national installing proper treatment industries.
