摘要: We report EXAFS (extended X-ray absorption fine structure) measurements above the LIII edge of Te in Cd1−xZnxTe for five compositions x. As other II–VI zincblende ternary alloys we find that distribution near-neighbours is bimodal and closer to Pauling-Huggins limit than virtual crystal approximation limit. This behaviour predicted by a model based on random cations fcc sublattice highly distorted anions. The second nearest neighbours multimodal. Within framework this compute mixing free energy critical temperature using Bragg-Williams approximation.
