摘要: In a population of 110 primary breast cancers with medullary features, registered in the Danish Breast Cancer Cooperative Group (DBCG) from 1977-82, we have determined ploidy and S-phase fraction (SF) by flow cytometry (FCM) on paraffin embedded tumour tissue. The distribution DNA is not different described for general. No difference found between subgroups non-medullary cancer when using new simplified histopathological definition carcinoma breast, recently proposed us. When Ridolfiet al. 1977, find significantly more tumours aneuploidy high SF groups typical (TMC) atypical (AMC) than small group (NMC), which seems paradox, as patients NMC worst prognosis. However, number very small, percentage aneuploid low. 84 protocolled no statistically prognostic importance or SF, either whole assessed stratifying subgroups. influence can be traced cancers, according to definition, but breast. result emphasizes impression MC being biologically other histological types cancer.
