Skin test reactivity to atypical mycobacteria among healthy Finnish preschool children vaccinated with BCG vaccine at birth

摘要: Skin test reactivity to three mycobacterial sensitins (M. avium, M. fortuitum and scrofulaceum) was studied in 353 healthy children vaccinated with the BCG vaccine at birth. A significant waning of all found occur increasing age. Revaccination against measles, parotitis rubella had been given 31 (9%) children, aged > 5.5 years. They significantly larger reactions sizes, which contrary what expected. Children atopic dermatitis (n = 19) smaller reaction sizes sensitin. Neither respiratory viral infections during preceding six months nor contact pets or farm animals any influence on sizes. The variation sensitin large preschool diagnostic value needs be elaborated clinical studies clinically demonstrable mycobacteriosis.
