摘要: There is a host of habitat assessment systems available to evaluate and grade tidal flat ecosystems in Korea. Nevertheless, we recognize the need develop better ecological scheme improve reliability accuracy given importance using an empirical approach assigning grades indicators limitation current which flats on regional basis. A preferable system would be one that enables mapping within flat, provides diagnosis stress/health, has high level relevance, communicability, statistical robustness, evaluation diverse habitats flat. The following points should considered framing such system. Indicators discriminate quality into five seven accomodating characteristics conservation value habitat, grading made from frequency distribution based nationwide data.We suggest tasks crafting system: ⅰ) decision selection practical application; ⅱ) effects physical conditions variability reflected; and, ⅲ) further works stress/health addressed for adopting multiple-indicator reduces misdiagnosis.
