摘要: In analogy with quantum optics, short-time correlations of the current fluctuations are measured and used to assess quality single-particle emission a recently introduced on-demand electron source. We observe, in context electronics, fundamental noise limit associated time single particles, or jittering. optimum operating conditions source, reduces jitter limit, which demonstrates emission. Combined coherent manipulations electrons conductor, this optics experiment opens way explore new problems including statistics interactions at single-electron level.
