摘要: Fifty-five multiparous Holstein dairy cows were used to evaluate the singular and combined effects of somatotropin monensin treatments during late dry period on postpartum metabolism production. Treatments 1) control (C); 2) injection exogenous bovine (bST); 3) TMR top dressed with 300 mg monensin/day (M); 4) in combination (bST+M) last 28 days before expected parturition. A 500-mg subcutaneous sustained release was administered adjacent tail head at d -28 -14 relative calving. Diet management same for all after Production intake measured daily until 63 milk. Milk composition, blood metabolites, body weight condition score weekly. Prepartum glucose, nonesterified fatty acid, urea nitrogen concentrations not different among treatments. Cows M treatment tended have greater matter than those C 30% lower plasma acid wk 1 other yield milk fat treatments, but percent be bST+M treatment. Changes amino consistent mobilization skeletal muscle protein, possibly use gluconeogenesis. Results from this study provide evidence that prepartum feeding reduced may improve glucose periparturient cow.
