Documenting research with transgender and gender diverse people: protocol for an evidence map and thematic analysis

摘要: There is limited information about how transgender, gender diverse, and Two-Spirit (trans) people have been represented studied by researchers. The objectives of this study are to (1) map describe trans research in the social sciences, humanities, health, education, business, (2) identify evidence gaps opportunities for more responsible with people, (3) assess use text mining identification, (4) increase access key stakeholders through creation a web-based map. Study design was informed community consultations pilot searches. Eligibility criteria were established include all original any design, including or their health information, published English peer-reviewed journals. A complex electronic search strategy based on relevant concepts 15 databases developed obtain broad range results linked individuals communities. Searches conducted early 2015 resulted 25,242 references after removal duplicates.
