Adsorption kinetics, isotherm and thermodynamics studies of flavones from Vaccinium Bracteatum Thunb leaves on NKA-2 resin

摘要: Abstract In this paper, the adsorption and desorption characteristics of flavones from Vaccinium Bracteatum Thunb leaves (VBTL) were investigated using NKA-2 resin to separate VBTL. Based on static experiments with resin, kinetics, isotherms thermodynamics VBTL investigated. Results showed that had a good performances for VBTL, capacity was 9.55 mg/g, ratios 57.88% 76.54%, respectively. It found Freundlich isotherm model pseudo first-order suitable characterize process adsorption. The values thermodynamic parameters including changes Gibbs free energy (ΔG∗), entropy (ΔS∗) enthalpy (ΔH∗) demonstrated spontaneous exothermic. controlled by physical mechanism rather than chemical mechanism.
