摘要: The aim of the present study was to demonstrate induction ofvitellogenin in common carp (Cyprinus carpio) as abiomarker for monitoring freshwater ecosystems. Sexually undifferentiated specimens were treated experimentally with 17β-estradiol and increasing doses 4-nonylphenol levels plasma Vtg measured orderto: 1) validate an ELISA assay carpusing polyclonal rabbit anti-salmon antibody AA1 (Biosense, Norway); 2) check sensitivity juvenilesin producing response estrogen stimulation. grouptreated showed high (156%)with respect controls, also groups 4-nonylphenolshowed Vtg. group 100 mg kg-1b.wt 61%. A statistically significantcorrelation found between dose response. This preliminary a using AA1. With further evidence tested biomarker might be proposed large scale estrogenic effects caused by pollution urban industrial effluents.
