摘要: Background Copy number aberrations frequently occur during the development of many cancers. Such events affect dosage involved genes and may cause further genomic instability progression cancer. In this survey, canine SNP microarrays were used to study 117 mammary tumours from 69 dogs. Results We found a high occurrence copy in tumours, losses being more frequent than gains. Increased frequency loss heterozygosity positively correlated with increased malignancy terms histopathological diagnosis. One most highly recurrently amplified regions harbored MYC gene. PTEN was located lost region also homozygously deleted five tumours. Thus, deregulation these due appears be an important event tumour development. Other potential contributors pathogenesis are COL9A3, INPP5A, CYP2E1 RB1. The present shows that detailed analysis chromosomal associated parameters aid identifying specific progression. Conclusions The is prominent feature as seen other human Our findings share several features corresponding studies breast strengthen dog suitable model organism for disease.
