摘要: Abstract A pharmacokinetic study of oxytetracycline (OTC) following an intravascular administration (40 mg/kg) was carried out in sea bass, Dicentrarchus labrax (110 g), at 13.5 and 22 °C water temperature. Blood, muscle liver samples were taken 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64 128 h post-injection. The plasma data conformed to a two-compartment model. kinetic profile the drug found be temperature dependent. absorption half-life (t1/2α) OTC 0.98 0.192 °C, respectively, whereas elimination half-time (t1/2β) 69 9.65 °C. apparent volume distribution steady state [Vd(ss)] 5.62 l/kg 2.59 mean residence time (MRT) 37.7 71 total clearance (CLT) calculated 73.5 68.7 ml/kg/h respectively. Liver levels indicated higher values than respective all points for both temperatures. from tissues tested faster high temperature, eliminated compared when comparisons are made same
