Pharmacokinetics of oxytetracycline in olive flounder (Paralichthys olivaceus) by intramuscular injection

摘要: The pharmacokinetic properties of oxytetracycline (OTC) were studied after intramuscular injection to cultured olive flounder, Paralichthys olivaceus. Plasma concentrations OTC determined dosage 12.5, 25 and 50 ㎎/㎏ body weight in flounder (average 600 g, 23±1℃). samples taken at 3, 5, 10, 15, 24, 32, 48, 72, 120, 168, 240 360 h post-dose. With ㎎/㎏, the peak plasma OTC, which attained 5 post-dose, 0.99 1.49 ㎍/㎖, respective- ly. However, concentration 12.5 was 0.35 ㎍/㎖ 10 con- centrations not measurable post-dose all doses. kinetic profile absorption, distribution elimination analyzed fitting a 1-compartment model by Win- Nonlin program. following parameters calculated for weight, respec- tively: AUC (the area under concentration-time curve)�24.98, 44.67 50.45 ㎍∙h/㎖; T1/2 (half-life) �0.42, 0.59 0.41 h; Tmax (time maximum concentration)�8.46, 6.34 2.66 Cmax (maximum concentration)�0.30, 0.63 1.13 ㎕/㎖.
