摘要: We investigated natural killer (NK) cell activity in an animal model of ethanol-induced immunoglobulin A (IgA) nephropathy. Two groups, 10 rats each, received a continuous intragastric infusion liquid diet through permanent cannula for 6 weeks. The alcoholic group was infused additionally with ethanol, representing from 32% to 40% the caloric requirement. control isocaloric supplemented glucose instead alcohol. IgA nephropathy observed all but none controls. NK two groups by measuring cytotoxicity spleen cells using chromium release method. found be significantly increased rats. In view known modulation synthesis cells, we suggest that may contributing factor high levels circulating seen secondary chronic alcohol consumption.
